Let your voice be your book support.
Inspired by the flowing shapes of sound waves, Frederik Roijé transforms the human voice into a sculptural piece of furniture.

Storylines is a bookshelf based on a simple yet distinctive idea: the shape of a spoken word becomes the structure of the object. The word bliss is translated into a continuous, rhythmic line turning sound into form and language into architecture.
A single sheet of powder-coated metal is precisely folded. These folds are not merely decorative they form the structural logic of the bookshelf, giving Storylines its strength, stability and distinctive silhouette.

Storylines is a modular shelving system by Frederik Roijé, where construction and form come together.
The element can be positioned horizontally, vertically, or upside down. A subtle connector allows multiple elements to be linked endlessly, creating a sculptural bookshelf that effortlessly adapts to any space.
Storylines is available as a single element or as a double set, including the connector. A simple design principle that enables infinite compositions.

Designed by Frederik Roijé and powder-coated in the Netherlands, each Storylines bookshelf is crafted locally by skilled Dutch craftsmen.
